Pine<\/em>, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">press release <\/a>from Liberty Counsel. The Attorney General had sought enormous fines from Susan Pine. Holder accused Pine of blocking the entrance to an abortion clinic in Florida. In reality, Susan pine was counseling women on the public sidewalk, attempting to save the lives of unborn children.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13217\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/eric-holder.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13217\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13217\" title=\"Attorney General Holder Testifies On Justice Department FY2011 Budget\" src=\"http:\/\/www.www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/eric-holder-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-13217\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Attorney General Eric Holder<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">Federal Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp dismissed Holder\u2019s lawsuit in January<\/a>, citing Holder\u2019s inability to present any evidence in the case. In addition, Liberty Counsel\u2019s Wednesday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">press release<\/a> also cites a \u201ccozy relationship\u201d between the Department of Justice and the Presidential Women\u2019s Center, where the alleged incident occurred. Liberty Counsel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">reports<\/a> that Judge Ryskamp suspected \u201cA conspiracy at the highest level of the Obama Administration,\u201d after video of the incident was not retained by the Department of Justice or the Presidential Women\u2019s Center.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Ryskamp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">stated<\/a>, \u201cThe Court is at a loss as to why the Government chose to prosecute<\/p>\n<p>this particular case in the first place. The Court can only wonder whether this action was the product of a concerted effort between the Government and PWC (Presidential Women\u2019s Center), which began well before the date of the incident at issue, to quell Ms. Pine\u2019s activities rather than to vindicate the rights of those allegedly aggrieved by Ms. Pine\u2019s conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">According to Liberty Counsel\u2019s press release<\/a>, Liberty Counsel has asked Judge Ryskamp to award Ms. Pine around $140,000.00 in attorney\u2019s fees as well as the cost of defending \u201cherself against Holder\u2019s political lawsuit.\u201d The Department of Justice continues to waste taxpayer dollars to fund the \u201cabortion lobby\u2019s efforts to silence pro-life Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lc.org\/index.cfm?PID=14100&amp;PRID=1163\">Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel Harry Mihet, noted<\/a>, \u201cThe Justice Department has apparently forgotten its name and that its purpose is to pursue justice, not unconstitutional, groundless claims manufactured by abortion clinics to intimidate and silence pro-life Americans. Mr. Holder\u2019s appeal will meet with the same fate as his initial lawsuit.
