Planned Parenthood execs are hard at work putting the spin on an ugly history of betraying mothers and their babies. One such anniversary effort is the #100YearsStrong campaign, a social media celebration of Planned Parenthood. In response, pro-lifers are taking October 16 as an opportunity to use the hashtag #100YearsWrong.<\/p>\n<p>All the positive press for Planned Parenthood fails to mention that the organization\u2019s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a eugenicist whose stated goal was to rid the world of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikiquote.org\/wiki\/Margaret_Sanger\">human weeds<\/a>.\u201d They also don\u2019t tell you that from this problematic beginning, Planned Parenthood has grown to an abortion business plagued with scandal.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ArticleAd1\"><!-- \/1011927\/LAN_300_by_250_top_article --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0\" class=\"ArticleAd1a\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion business in the United States (you could say <em>the<\/em> abortion corporation of America), committing 320,000 abortions per year, ending the lives of as many preborn babies. Planned Parenthood is currently being investigated by the federal government and several state governments for allegedly selling the body parts of aborted babies. (One of <a href=\"\/news\/documents-reveal-company-inventory-body-parts-greater-4-4-million\/\">the fetal parts companies<\/a> that received body parts <a href=\"\/news\/california-d-a-sues-companies-that-worked-with-planned-parenthood-to-harvest-fetal-parts\/\">from Planned Parenthood<\/a> has just had a lawsuit filed against them by the Orange County District Attorney.)<\/p>\n<p>As if that\u2019s not enough reason to say Planned Parenthood is #100YearsWrong, let\u2019s take a look at Planned Parenthood\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderclap.it\/projects\/47392-100yearsstrong\">claim<\/a> that they are celebrating \u201c100 years of health care, education &amp; activism.\u201d<\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Health care:<\/strong> Planned Parenthood receives more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/files\/2114\/5089\/0863\/2014-2015_PPFA_Annual_Report_.pdf\">half a billion dollars<\/a> in government funding each year for its health care services. Deluded Planned Parenthood supporters would have you believe there\u2019s a constant stream of mammography and other life-saving cancer screenings happening at your local abortion provider. The reality is a bit different. Although the abortion giant does perform some basic cancer screenings (such as Pap smears and breast exams), Planned Parenthood\u2019s own president, Cecile Richards, admitted that Planned Parenthood does not have a single mammogram machine and does not provide mammograms. What&#8217;s more, Planned Parenthood affiliates have been charged with multiple instances of Medicaid\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/half-of-planned-parenthoods-medicaid-payments-were-fraud-auditors-say\/\">fraud<\/a>, even <a href=\"https:\/\/oig.hhs.gov\/oas\/reports\/region6\/61100016.pdf\">charging taxpayers<\/a> for birth control for women who were already sterilized. While tax dollars can&#8217;t be used to pay for abortions directly, Planned Parenthood is hard at work to have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthoodaction.org\/issues\/abortion\/hyde-amendment\">Hyde Amendment<\/a> thrown out.\u00a0The facts indicate that Planned Parenthood isn\u2019t primarily concerned with health care; they\u2019re in the abortion business. Would your tax dollars be better spent <a href=\"\/news\/will-poor-women-go-health-care-defund-planned-parenthood-everywhere\/\">at a federally qualified heath center<\/a> that<em> actually<\/em> provides mammograms?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Planned Parenthood claims to be the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/files\/2114\/5089\/0863\/2014-2015_PPFA_Annual_Report_.pdf\">largest provider of sex ed in the country<\/a>. Misguided legislators often tout Planned Parenthood\u2019s education programs as scientifically accurate information aimed at guiding young people to making healthy choices. A look at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/Newsmax-Tv\/Planned-Parenthood-Pacific-Justice-Institute\/2014\/12\/12\/id\/612736\/\">curricula<\/a> suggests otherwise.\u00a0Perhaps their most glaring error is the absolute refusal to acknowledge the scientific fact that life begins at conception.\u00a0From doling out <a href=\"http:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/12\/22\/planned-parenthood-says-hiding-hiv-from-sex-partners-is-a-right\/\">misinformation<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2005\/01\/10\/nat-1095\/\">low quality condoms<\/a>, to encouraging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_CBdOLDWYSA\">dangerous sexual practices<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/plannedparenthoodexposed.com\/\">predatory relationships<\/a>, Planned Parenthood has shown time and again that the best interest of children is not their specialty.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activism:<\/strong> The activism of Margaret Sanger\u2019s day was focused on eliminating the people she deemed undesirables. Today, Planned Parenthood\u2019s \u201cactivism\u201d consists almost entirely of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/pacs\/lookup2.php?strID=C00314617\">supporting the most pro-abortion candidates<\/a>\u00a0they can find to ensure their continued funding through their political arm, the Planned Parenthood Action Committee. They also <a href=\"http:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/12\/22\/planned-parenthood-says-hiding-hiv-from-sex-partners-is-a-right\/\">pay \u201cactivists\u201d<\/a> to attend rallies in support of their cause.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Planned Parenthood <a href=\"\/news\/new-video-debunks-planned-parenthoods-3-percent-abortion-myth?utm_content=bufferb1e07&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=facebook.com&amp;utm_campaign=buffer\">kills more babies in the womb than any other business in America<\/a>, defrauds taxpayers, endangers teens, and uses their political influence to ensure their own continued funding.
