Right on cue, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=%22erin+gloria+ryan%22+site%3Awww.liveactionnews.org&amp;ie=utf-8&amp;oe=utf-8\">noted abortion propagandist Erin Gloria Ryan<\/a> shot back with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/articles\/2016\/10\/05\/mike-pence-recycles-anti-hillary-clinton-abortion-lie-for-vp-debate.html\">Daily Beast piece<\/a> calling the charge a \u201clie\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If the claim that Clinton is in favor of aborting full-term babies sounds familiar, that\u2019s because it is. Rubio made an identical claim\u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/www.politifact.com\/truth-o-meter\/statements\/2016\/feb\/10\/marco-rubio\/marco-rubio-says-hillary-clinton-supports-abortion\/\">rated as \u201cFalse\u201d by PolitiFact<\/a>\u2014during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/content\/dailybeast\/articles\/2016\/02\/06\/chris-christie-knocks-marco-rubio-to-the-floor.html\">Feb. 6 Republican primary debate<\/a>, and Carly Fiorina repeated it during the GOP primary debate on March 30.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t any truer when Pence said it Tuesday night. In fact, so-called partial-birth abortions were outlawed in the United States in 2003. That law was challenged all the way to the Supreme Court, and in 2007, the court ruled in Gonzalez v. Carhart that the law should stand.<\/p>\n<p>In no speech at any point on the 2016 campaign trail has Clinton advocated for reviving such a practice. In an address <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/fact-checker\/wp\/2016\/04\/01\/firoinas-claim-that-hillary-clinton-supports-abortion-up-until-the-moment-of-birth\/\">she delivered in 2005<\/a>, Clinton stated she didn\u2019t believe the government should interfere at all in a woman\u2019s decision to have an abortion, but she made those statements in the context of pointing out the way China and Romania had historically treated pregnant women, not in U.S. law, and not in the context of demanding the widespread acceptance of late-term abortions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, <a href=\"\/news\/politifact-abortion-fact-checking-really-political-hackery\/\">if PolitiFact says so<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"ArticleAd1\">\n<p><!-- \/1011927\/LAN_300_by_250_top_article --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0\" class=\"ArticleAd1a\"><script>\ngoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1473179053567-0'); });\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<p>Ryan seems to think partial-birth abortion already being illegal and the 2005 address not being specifically about the procedure should put the matter to bed, as if that\u2019s all the evidence there is. She conveniently forgets, as I <a href=\"\/news\/rubio-right-call-hillary-clinton-pro-abortion-even-due-date\/\">documented back in February<\/a>, that Clinton not only voted against the 2003 ban, but she condemned the Supreme Court decision to uphold it in 2007\u2014two years <em>after<\/em> the speech Ryan cites.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton expressly said that forbidding partial-birth abortion was \u201cinfringing on fundamental rights\u201d and \u201cimposing onerous burdens on women and their families,\u201d and that subjecting one\u2019s child <em>to that procedure<\/em> was a \u201ccomplex and highly personal\u201d decision that fell within the rightful scope of \u201cthe rights and lives of women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2016\/08\/31\/hillary-clinton-defended-partial-birth-abortions-opposed-criminalizing-a-medical-procedure\/\">said<\/a> that protecting babies from being partially delivered and then killed would be \u201ccriminaliz[ing] a medical procedure\u201d and fear-mongered that doing so would invite America to do \u201cthe very same kinds of things\u201d done <em>in Communist Romania<\/em> and China to coerce and restrict childbirth.<\/p>\n<p>If Erin Gloria Ryan is aware of Hillary Clinton <em>ever<\/em> disavowing these remarks\u2014the only thing that could possibly make her title true\u2014then by all means, let\u2019s hear it. That Hillary hides her position by never using the words \u201cpartial-birth abortion\u201d means nothing\u2014especially when she continues to call it \u201cextreme\u201d and \u201cdangerous\u201d to ban the first cousin of partial-birth abortion, late-term abortion.\u00a0Demonstrated in the video below is a late-term induction abortion:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r5Af8vIym2o\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Of course, Ryan probably is fully aware of how Hillary voted, how she reacted to <em>Gonzalez<\/em>, etc. That doesn\u2019t stop her from absurdly pretending \u201cit isn\u2019t clear where Pence is getting the notion that Clinton supports partial-birth abortions,\u201d because all that matters to the abortion cult is The Narrative.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of The Narrative, she rounded out her column by peddling a couple more pieces of it<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kaine rebutted Pence\/Rubio\/Fiorina by reiterating his stated belief that it wasn\u2019t the role of public servants to \u201cmandate\u201d their faith for everybody else, and that he and Clinton supported Roe v. Wade.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_94148\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-94148\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-94148\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/purvi-patel-300x166.jpg\" alt=\"via St. Joseph's County, IN police department\" width=\"300\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/purvi-patel-300x166.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/purvi-patel.jpg 672w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-94148\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Purvi Patel (via St. Joseph&#8217;s County, IN police department)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This talking point, unfortunately, was only made possible by Pence\u2019s one oversight in an otherwise-excellent performance. No pro-life politician should ever let a pro-abort get away with lying about the <a href=\"\/news\/40-quotes-from-medical-experts-that-prove-human-life-begins-at-conception\/\">irrefutable<\/a> <a href=\"\/news\/the-science-of-abortion-when-does-life-begin\/\">biological<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abort73.com\/abortion\/medical_testimony\/\">fact<\/a> that abortion kills living human children being just a religious matter.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He then suggested that the Trump-Pence ticket would punish women who had abortions. During Kaine\u2019s response, Pence shook his head like a father who could not believe he found a marijuana joint in Kaine\u2019s sock drawer.<\/p>\n<p>Exasperated, Pence responded that neither he nor Trump would ever support legislation mandating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/content\/dailybeast\/cheats\/2016\/03\/30\/trump-punish-women-for-abortions.html\">punishment for women who had abortions<\/a>. It\u2019s an interesting claim in light of the fact that one of Pence\u2019s lasting legacies as governor of Indiana will be the prosecution of Purvi Patel, a woman who was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/content\/dailybeast\/articles\/2014\/08\/27\/indiana-feticide-charge-is-the-latest-fallout-from-states-strict-anti-abortion-laws.html\">punished for feticide<\/a> after being suspected of attempting to induce her own abortion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Confirmed: we\u2019ll never hear the end of the Purvi Patel case from pro-aborts, no matter the facts of her guilt or the fact that <a href=\"\/news\/feticide-convict-purvi-patel-likely-to-go-free-next-month\/\">she was\u00a0freed on appeal<\/a>. As Live Action News readers may recall, Patel didn\u2019t \u201cjust\u201d attempt to self-abort; she <a href=\"\/news\/salon-hopes-youve-forgotten-the-facts-on-the-purvi-patel-feticide-case-we-havent\/\">gave birth and then left her live son to suffocate to death in a dumpster<\/a>. I think prosecuting that is an okay \u201clasting legacy\u201d to have.<\/p>\n<p>To Erin Gloria Ryan and her fellow travelers, Hillary Clinton\u2019s actual positions don\u2019t matter. The children abortion kills don\u2019t mater. Purvi Patel\u2019s crimes don\u2019t matter.
