As Live Action News has previously covered,\u00a0a new rule<\/a> proposed\u00a0by the Department of Health and Human Services could prevent states from blocking Title X funding\u00a0to abortion providers such as\u00a0Planned Parenthood. Earlier this month, Rep. Diane Black of Tennessee called out the proposed rule as another backdoor maneuver by the Obama Administration to keep the money flowing to Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

In an opinion piece published by Fox News<\/a> on Tuesday, Black elaborated on her criticism of the proposed rule.<\/p>\n

Black began by exposing the close ties between the current administration and the nation’s leading abortion business…<\/p>\n

…President Obama became the first sitting President to address Planned Parenthood\u2019s annual fundraising gala… Last year, the White House praised Planned Parenthood\u2019s \u201chigh ethical standard\u201d<\/a> even as it was implicated in the heinous trafficking of baby body parts. And more recently, we learned from Planned Parenthood\u2019s own annual report that the organization saw an increase of $25 million in taxpayer funding, while the total number of medical services provided dropped<\/i><\/a> <\/i>by more than 10 percent during the same timeframe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Black quipped that due to the influence Planned Parenthood holds over the government, Cecile Richards might as well be on the White House payroll.<\/p>\n
