It described some as spine-chilling.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Among the examples it cited were, &#8220;Kill all your family if you don&#8217;t follow the rule&#8221; and, &#8220;If you escape (sterilisation), we&#8217;ll hunt you down; if you want to hang yourself, we&#8217;ll give you the rope&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The research said milder expressions should be used to &#8220;avoid offending the public and stoking social tensions&#8221;.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, the Chinese media\u2014which is the government\u2019s media\u2014blamed officials in local areas for the unpalatable slogans.\u00a0 They also ensured that everyone knows the One Child Policy will go nowhere.\u00a0 According to those in power in China, the policy is there to stay.<\/p>\n<p>Similar to Planned Parenthood in the U.S., the Chinese government wants to promote the murder of children by making it sound more interesting, advisable, and good.\u00a0 They try to excuse away their promotion of death with upbeat words.\u00a0 Neither one of these abortion giants have any desire to stop abortion.\u00a0 They simply want to not sound like the bad guy.<\/p>\n<p>The international community should reject China\u2019s thinly veiled attempt at making their One Child Policy sound \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-asia-17181951\">upbeat<\/a>\u201d.\u00a0 The One Child Policy is forced abortion, plain and simple.\u00a0 It flies in the face of life and choice.\u00a0 Adding words on to their slogans like \u201ccaring\u201d and \u201cplease\u201d do not erase the fact that they are still requiring parents to abort \u201cout-of-plan\u201d children or pay a fine many times a wealthy person\u2019s salary.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese government openly admits that their slogans are propaganda.\u00a0 They do not hide the fact that they are trying to force their own horrible views on each and every citizen of China.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, the government has recognized that its One Child Policy has resulted in a gendercide against girls (though they would probably never admit the great proportions of this gendercide).\u00a0 But they make a moot attempt at encouraging parents to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-asia-17181951\">keep their girls<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>The one-child policy has also been blamed for causing a gender imbalance, with families eager to have male children and selectively aborting girls.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The People&#8217;s Daily said future propaganda would address this issue, and suggested the slogan: &#8220;Caring for the girl means caring for the future of the nation.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Regardless of what the Chinese government says, the gendercide against girls is rooted in the One Child Policy.\u00a0 Until they end this human rights violation, girls will continue to be singled out for death, and forced abortion will have no end in sight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>China has undertaken a project to make their \u201cslogans\u201d for the One Child Policy sound better to the ear.
